Peptide Reconstitution Calculator
Calculate your reconstitution volume and dosage draw
Calculator
All are U-100 insulin syringes (1mL = 100 units).
The total amount of peptide powder in your vial (e.g. 5mg, 10mg)
The amount of bacteriostatic water you have added to the vial
The desired dose per administration in milligrams (mg)

Quick Reference
1 mL = 100 IU (units) on a U-100 insulin syringe
0.3 mL = 30 units · 0.5 mL = 50 units · 1.0 mL = 100 units
Common Reconstitution Examples:
| Vial | Water | Dose | Draw |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5mg | 2mL | 0.25mg | 10 IU |
| 5mg | 1mL | 0.25mg | 5 IU |
| 10mg | 2mL | 0.25mg | 5 IU |
| 10mg | 2mL | 0.5mg | 10 IU |
How to Reconstitute Peptides
Prepare
Remove the plastic cap from your peptide vial and wipe the rubber stopper with an alcohol swab.
Add Water
Draw bacteriostatic water with a syringe and inject slowly down the side of the vial. Do not spray directly onto the powder.
Mix
Gently swirl the vial until the powder is fully dissolved. Do not shake vigorously as this can damage the peptide.
Store
Store reconstituted peptides in the refrigerator (2-8°C). Use within 30 days for best results.
